Galtem wasn't super hungry, but he wasn't full either. He was having a hard time with school work, considering apples were on his mind. Dinner was great, five hours ago, and now he sat at his desk in his dorm thinking about green sour apples. He thought about the apple orchard at the castle back home. That made him think of his parents and the Windsors. Climbing the apple trees had been his favorite as a small child. Now apples just came by magic. Scratching the back of his head, Galtem got up and closed his books.
He headed to the kitchens. He knew not to get caught by the elves, but he figured if he did get caught, then it was meant to be. If he got in trouble then trouble was what he deserved, but he by no means wanted that to happen. So Galtem was quiet and pushed open the big stone doors, praying they wouldn't creak. The whole place was quiet and he could hear his own footsteps. He quickly found the kitchens and his eyes went wide when he saw baskets upon baskets of fruits on the counters. He smiled widely and found the perfect green apple before heading back out to the eating area.
Once outside, Galtem found a quiet place in the grass and laid down, looking up at the stars. They were clear and he couldn't help but stare. The apple was loud in his ears as he started in on it, laying down, staring at the stars. He could care less how sissy it sounded, stargazing. But it was quiet and he was happy.
