THE RULES!!!!!!!!

First of all thank you for joining Sands Of Times. Now before you begin your magical journey there are a few things we must go over. I know ugh rules but hey every site has them so read on and don't worry we won't bite...much. So please read on through it won't take long and it definitely won't hurt. We promise.

APPLYING AND REGISTERING

Again welcome to Heka’s Academy for Witches and Wizards. Please when you register could you do it with your characters first, middle and last name and do it all in caps please. When you start this little journey please make sure that every section of the application is filled out if there are any questions don't hesitate to contact a staff member. Once that application is done please post it in the right section and give the staff at least a fay to look it over before getting nervous about being accepted. We wont forget about you and we will get to the application because we want you here we really do because the more the merrier. Oppan[/i][/s]

Now as for the number of characters we will allow you to have this is where some rules will start to come into play some more. On this site there will few purebloods since the whole plot centers around there being more muggle borns and half bloods, so in other words the number of purebloods will be limited. There are four pureblood royal lines, Egypt, Greece, Rome, and Spain and any pureblood that is created must come from there.Now there will be a limit posted on how many purebloods can be created from each line so make sure to check before applying and this information can be found in application section. As for how many characters you can have we wont put a limit on it but you must keep them all active. Oh yes remember there is no such thing as a perfect character so there are to be so Mary or Gary Sue"s where they are prefect and their life is perfect not even in the rp world does that happen. Try and make your character as unique as possible without going too far and if we do we would love you even more for it.

ACTIVITY

If there is one thing we all here at Heka’s Academy for Witches and Wizards understand is that there is life outside of the rp world and sometimes that life can take over. But the one thing we do ask is that you do show up and try to rp because what is the point of joining such place if you are going to poof.We do not demand you post every day oh no we know sometimes people are busy but all we ask here is to try and post at least once a week maybe two. And hey if your muse decides to try and go MIA just maybe pop into the cbox and talk to people or post in games just to let us all know that you are still here. This site is nothing without active members you guys are the ones that will make this place thrive and keep it going. So all we ask is that you remain active because who like a site plot that does not move?

ROLEPLAYING!!!!

We are an intermediate to advanced roleplaying site but don't worry we don't have large required posts count because here it is about quality not quantity. Nobody likes the added pressure of making sure their posts are a certain number.We want this site to be fun and a place you want to come and not something you avoid like homework. The one thing we do ask when posting is to give at least one descent size paragraph that has at least five sentences in it. Now I know we have all been the new role player at some point in our lives so if your new don't worry we wont say no all we ask is that you try to keep up and if there is an issue just ask a staff or site member we are here to help each other and people who need help getting into the grove of things.Oh yeah here is another thing when posting try to use a spell and grammar checker. These things normally come on a word program and if you don't have one just google it they are free and easy to use. A great suggestion to make the posts look nice is also to make the posts pretty we are not saying you must use a a post template but it makes things looks nice and can sometimes help an rp. Also don't take things that happen in an rp personal this is all for fun and play and not a personal attack on you. Most of all just have fun because this is what we put the site together for. Also please try to give the person you are roleplaying with something to go off of.Gangam[/i][/s]

GRAPHICS!!!

We do require that you have an avatar that will show the world who your character is .The size of these pretty pics can be anywhere from 100x100 to the biggest of 200 by 200 and the bigger the pic the prettier it looks Signatures are something we encourage you to use you may not want one but come on they make things look pretty and also help let people know a little more about your character. And if your worried about where to get one or cant make them don't worry on site we will have a graphics shop as well as other sites like Caution and RCR can make banners and avatars for you.One thing is that we ask is the siggy banner does not stretch the page or have naughty things in them. CLAIMAGE

Ok now for the face of your claim. We are asking that you make it a celebrity and not some scene kid or face off of myspace. Also we are asking don't use you own or another face you happen to fond on google please make sure it is a celebrity. We wont tell you who you can and can't use as a face sometimes we may make suggestions but the final choice is yours. There are no double claims to faces unless they are twins. Remember to also pick a face that will fit with the age such as you can use Angelina Jolie as a 6th year it wont work. If you need help with a play by choice just ask around I am sure a site or staff member will be happy to help you.
